BackSpin 4.1 update

Well, we waited and waited and waited for AVG to get their act together and figure out that BackSpin was not a virus and they have let us down.

I feel sorry for recommending AVG all these years as they have bit our hand. They labeled BackSpin as a virus because we were logging BackSpins shots into a file and they thought this must be some kind of Trojan.

We now have stopped logging. If you have AVG and can't download and run BackSpin, try 4.1

Having same problem on the virus with charter cable virus protection, gotta unload it re download backspin when I want to use it. Will try the 4.1 see if that helps.

I don't have AVG and I still can't run Backspin. Any suggestions. It just won't load at all.

Backspin still leaves a lot to be desired in Vista. Still getting splits that aren't picked up, still getting pins left and very inconsistant play. Too many times the game ends shy of a jackpot spin.

I had the same issues with AMANDA'S Shot in VISTA. It used to work awesomely, now it splits all the time.

I exclusively use HOOK SHOT in VISTA and I get lots of 200-point games and nearly always get a jackpot spin.

One TWEAK that I would suggest to Oscar is a "ALWAYS GO FOR GOLD/SILVER PIN" option on second shot. I have seen BACKSPIN mess up a gold/silver pin after getting a split because it goes for the same pin POSITION each time. Usually, this is not important except for tokens. However, if you have one of the stupid GOLD/SILVER pin challenges, especially one with a short time-frame, this can be really bad.
